FAQ's

Q: SELLING OF AIRCRAFT?

A: A simple process which entails the return of the FAA Certificate of Registration and a signed letter confirming the details of the sale and requesting that the Trust be dissolved sent to us. We will confirm that the Trust is dissolved and issue a Bill of Sale reverting the ownership back which then allows the aircraft to be sold to another entity. We do not charge for this service, but do need sufficient prior notice.

Q: PUTTING AN AIRCRAFT ON ANOTHER REGISTRY?

A: Return the FAA Certificate of Registration along with a signed letter to us, confirming the details of transfer and authorizing us to de-register the aircraft. The Trust will be dissolved, the aircraft will be de-registered and a Bill of Sale will be issued returning the ownership back which allows for the transfer to another registry. We do not charge for this service, but require sufficient prior notice.

Q: LOSE OF CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION OR FCC RADIO STATION DOCUMENTS?

A: We will order duplicates, but will have to charge for the cost to us

Q: RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION?

A: BycoFAA Registration (Trustees) takes care of this automatically for no additional fee.

Q: NAME ON INSURANCE TITLE?

A: Notify the insurance company that the aircraft will be registered in Trust for ownership and they will state what the requirements are for the named insured on the schedule.

Q: DE-REGISTER OF AIRCRAFT?

A: De-register of an aircraft is never done without the beneficial owners permission. If fees are not paid then BycoFAA resigns as Trustee and notify the FAA. The ownership of aircraft reverts back to the beneficial owner without it being de-registered.
